Owners Betsy and Christopher Kolomitz established Settings Event Rental in 2011. The two live in Salida where they benefit from the beautiful surroundings and great community. When not working on growing Settings Event Rental, both Betsy and Christopher spend their free time outdoors especially enjoying skiing, traveling or soaking in hot springs. Together, they thrive when entertaining, cooking, gardening, or volunteering in the community.

Meet Our Team
Betsy is a Nebraska native and moved to Colorado for college. She attended the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver and received her bachelor degree in interior design. Betsy then went on to a successful career specializing in luxury linen and fine décor. At The Brass Bed Fine Linens and Furnishing she was part of the managing and buying team which monitored the latest North American and European trends.
Christopher grew up in Colorado and after graduating from Colorado State University-Pueblo, he went on to a career in newspapers. Now during the summer he and the Settings crew are busy delivering, washing and getting ready for the next event. In the off season he’s working to expand Settings and keeping an eye on winter storms in hopes he can catch a few powder days at Monarch.
